WHO WE ARE
Save Our States Action fights to defend the role of states and the power of the people in our constitutional republic. It is an affiliate of Save Our States, which was founded in 2009 to defend the Electoral College against the National Popular Vote interstate compact campaign. Both organizations are based in Oklahoma City and active nationwide.

Trent England
Executive Director

Trent England is executive director of Save Our States Action. He is also the founder and executive director of Save Our States, a co-chairman of the Stop Ranked-Choice Voting Coalition, and the David & Ann Brown Distinguished Fellow at the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs. He has previously served as executive vice president for both the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs and the Freedom Foundation, and as a legal policy analyst at The Heritage Foundation. Trent was a Publius Fellow of the Claremont Institute in 2008. He is a producer of the feature-length documentary film, Safeguard: An Electoral College Story; the author of Why We Must Defend the Electoral College; co-author of The Case Against Ranked-Choice Voting; and a contributor to The Heritage Guide to the Constitution and One Nation Under Arrest. Trent earned a J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law and a B.A. in government from Claremont McKenna College.
